Emails in my opinion are just as important as the webpages and social content that is created day in day out, it helps to reach the mailboxes of millions daily. I have worked with/in the CRM team for many years and have knowledge of the ins and outs of the subject and its positive impact in sales.
At Dixons Carphone I worked on CRM design, moving it from its old and tired design to something new and fresh - here are a few designs. I worked with the dev team to create drag and drop modular panels to make emails easier to design and build and minimising the turnaround times from conception to send. In the end i created templates and a toolkit/CRM guidelines for design to follow and also to help developers to create consistent looking emails in build, as designers were no longer creating full emails it was important the developers knew what the emails were supposed to look like.
